Acquiring new knowledge and techniques in developing PDX model for advanced prostate cancer, single cell RNAseq, scATAC-seq, RIME and ChIP-seq and functional genomics with CRISPR-cas9.
“My current research projects aim to develop a new treatment option for Enzalutamide resistant prostate cancer. Resistance to the androgen receptor (AR) targeted therapy remains challenging in managing high risk and lethal prostate cancer. At present we are more interested to find out the molecular mechanisms involved in the reprogramming AR regulome in the presence of Enzalutamide drug. We hope understanding of signaling mechanisms and finding out of novel transcription factor is pivotal for developing new treatment option for enzalutamide resistant castration resistant prostate cancer. To achieve this aim we apply patient derived xenograft (PDX) model in NSG mice.”
